Meet Placemate Team Member Chase Janvrin

Chase is Placemate’s General Manager for the Lake Tahoe region, the largest market for the company. He oversees the management of a growing roster of employees and a rapidly expanding business. He is responsible for homeowner onboarding, tenant placement, and operations, he also owns the relationships with Placemate’s government partners.

Going on 20 years of experience in real estate, finance, and project management in environments ranging from pre-IPO startups to nonprofits, to Fortune 500 companies, Chase’s knowledge, skills, and background provide Placemate with a well-rounded and strategic view into building and scaling impactful businesses.

Chase brought his extensive experience to Tahoe in 2017, and shortly after began a new role as the Program Manager for the Tahoe Prosperity Center, where he was focused primarily on housing issues in the Tahoe region. He spent 3 years at the regional non-profit, working with local businesses, jurisdictions, other non-profits, board members, and community members to research and identify strategies to add more local housing to the Lake Tahoe region.

Now at Placemate, Chase brings the organization a comprehensive perspective, along with a passion for team development and a solid background in executing housing-related initiatives. Under Chase’s tenure, Placemate has hired two Operations Managers, revamped the internal CRM systems, streamlined standard operating procedures with an eye on ROI, kicked off our newest Tahoe area program in E. Placer County, and overseen the onboarding of dozens of homes and tenants into the Lease to Locals programs.
