Property owners who started their first lease in Year 1 of the program between April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025, who leased for a 2nd year and received a renewal incentive are eligible for a 3rd and final renewal incentive valued at 75% of their original grant payment.
Property owners who started their first lease in Year 2 of the program between April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, are eligible for a 2nd renewal incentive valued at 75% of their original grant payment.

To access this additional incentive, owners must renew their most recent lease agreement or sign a new 12-month lease with at least 1 qualified tenant from the tenant group listed on the most recent lease agreement. The rental rate must remain the same or be decreased, and the renewal term must begin the day after the final day of the most recent lease agreement.
Owners are eligible for a renewal incentive no greater than for each qualified tenant for whom they received an incentive during the first lease term of program participation. For example, if you received an incentive for 2 qualified tenants under Lease 1, you are eligible for a maximum renewal incentive for 2 qualified tenants under Lease 2 and Lease 3, regardless of whether additional qualified tenants are added to the renter group.
